What role does persistence play in revising, refining, and developing work?
Persistence plays a role because you have to be consistent in the work you are doing. If you want to get better at something, you have to do it over and over again. As a photographer, you have to keep taking photos, revising, and refining your images to get the outcome that you want.
How do artists grow and become accomplished in photography?
Artist grow by continuously working and taking photos. You can't get anywhere by not doing anything. If you're really passionate about something, you'll chase after it. Photographers can become accomplished in photography if they keep creating new things and never stop.
How does collaboratively reflecting (think back to when we critiqued as a class verbally) on photography help us experience reflection better?
Reflecting on photography can help us grow as better artists. It can help was experience reflection better by teaching us how to take critiques, and apply it to our work. We take other people's advice, get an outside look at our art, and improve from there.

How do you determine criteria to judge a photo, what aspects are you looking for?
For criteria, I think you should manly look at some more broad aspects of the photo, like originality, creativity, and the overall appearance or theme to the photo. I would also judge a photo based on more smaller aspects, like the angling, lighting, and the attention to details.
How and why might criteria vary in photography?
Criteria could vary in a photo because not every photo is the same. You can't compare a landscape photo to a macro image. They have different aspects that can't be judge the same way.
How is a personal preference different from an evaluation when judging a photo?
A personal preference is different from an evaluation because an evaluation is based upon a certain "rubric". While a personal preference is something that can't be judged because it is the artists personal taste, or opinion of their work.
